Pet Food Pantry

We believe that no one should ever have to choose between feeding themselves or their pet(s). Our pet food pantry is open to all eligible clients of Winston’s Place

This pantry is meant for emergency needs and is not meant to be a regular source of food. Each of our clients can access our food pantry up to 12 times per year for up to 4 pets at a time.

Our food pantry is ALWAYS in need of cat food, dog food, and cat litter. You can always done to our pantry via our wishlists and any items you order will ship directly to us and be given directly to our neighbors in need. You may also shop in person and email director@winstons-place.com to schedule a drop off or pickup.

Pet Supplies

We odder low-cost pet supplies including leashes, collars, treats, toys and more! Prices are as marked. We also sell engraved pet tags for $10 per pet.

Wellness

Although we are not licensed veterinary professionals, we offer over the counter medications at significantly lower cost than retail.

Supplies may vary but typically include dewormer, topical flea and tick prevention, supplements, anti-diarrheal medication, and more.

FAQs about our Resource Center

  • To be eligible for our services, you must have documentation of your income status and residence in the tri-county area (Charleston, Berkeley & Dorchester).

    This documentation can come in the for of a form of an SSI/SSDI letter, Section 8 or Public Housing, Welfare notification, Medicaid Card, Veteran Benefits Letter, SNAP benefits, or notice of unemployment.

  • Come in during open hours and complete our brief application with a volunteer!

  • Unfortunately, we can only enroll the primary caregiver for a pet/pets at this time.

    You can always refer loved ones to us!
